Step 1 - The first step is completing a selection of industry-recognized IT courses by CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco & ITIL. The training is delivered via multimedia-rich video tutorials, presentations, and quizzes through a portal that you study from home. This can be done around your current job role in the evenings and weekends or full-time if you are not working.
Once you have worked your way through the course material, you will sit a short exam consisting of multiple-choice questions in order to ensure that you have a firm grasp of the course material.
Step 2 - Your next step will be to make use of our Live Lab which can also be conveniently accessed online. This will give you the opportunity to test your skills in a practical environment – a crucial requirement when stepping into your first role.
By using our hosted platforms, you will be able to work on real-world hardware from your home, allowing you to test your own configurations and the impacts that they have, or to follow the Lab guidelines that are aimed at a specific piece of technology as will be required during your CompTIA exams.
Step 3 - You will be sitting the CompTIA A+ exams to give you an official certification that will be recognized worldwide. The CompTIA A+ is the most commonly asked for certificate in entry-level IT roles.
Step 4 - You will be placed into your first role as an IT Technician, with a starting salary of anywhere between £18K-25K. You will need to gain two years of experience in this role before you can transfer over to a cybersecurity analyst role. While working as an IT Technician, we will release your second batch of training which is specifically designed to qualify you to move into a cybersecurity role. This will consist of online training, practical training, and the official CompTIA CySA+ exam.
Cyber Security Role
Once you have completed all of the mandatory training in step four and have the required two years of experience in your first job placement, you will be ready to move into your Cyber Security Analyst role. Our recruitment team works with companies across the uK that have a shortage of qualified cybersecurity staff. In this role, you will have a starting salary of around £35K.
This represents a great opportunity to start a rewarding career in IT and has a real career ladder to start climbing. If you are not offered a role within 12 weeks of completing the training we will refund 100% of your course fees back to you.
- Troubleshoot desktop and system problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software Incidents/problems
- Incident and problem management
- Provide exceptional Service support to the business
- Provide solution(s)/work around(s) to incidents and Problems
- Contribute to polices, processes and procedures
- Install, maintain and support new applications
- Supporting Windows 7,8 & 10
- Facilitate the movement of IT equipment
