Overview

This half-day instructor-led Cyber Security training course has been designed to provide attendees with a better understanding of Cyber Security and potential threats to themselves and their organisation. The course objectives are to explain the motivation behind cyber attacks, common areas of attack, and techniques used to breach security. Attendees will learn how to be vigilant and safeguard against potential dangers.

The course is available as an online half-day course or in-house training. The maximum number of attendees per session is 12 staff members to ensure personalized attention and interaction.

Cyber Security Awareness Course

This course provides an in-depth understanding of cybercrime and potential threats to individuals and organisations. The following topics will be covered:

  • Introduction to cybercrime, including its costs
  • Overview of cyber criminals, including RaaS
  • Understanding cybercrime targets and motives
  • Creating a strong cyber awareness culture
  • Best practices for password security, testing email accounts, using password managers, and implementing multi-factor authentication
  • Email safety, identity theft, social engineering, phishing, and malware threats
  • Internet safety, including BYOD policies, mobile malware, rogue mobile applications, APTs, and advanced attacks
  • Public WiFi risks and safety measures

By the end of this half-day course, attendees will have a better understanding of common cyber threats and the techniques used to breach security. They will also learn best practices to prevent cyber attacks and protect their personal and professional information.
