Cyber Security Awareness Course
This course provides an in-depth understanding of cybercrime and potential threats to individuals and organisations. The following topics will be covered:
- Introduction to cybercrime, including its costs
- Overview of cyber criminals, including RaaS
- Understanding cybercrime targets and motives
- Creating a strong cyber awareness culture
- Best practices for password security, testing email accounts, using password managers, and implementing multi-factor authentication
- Email safety, identity theft, social engineering, phishing, and malware threats
- Internet safety, including BYOD policies, mobile malware, rogue mobile applications, APTs, and advanced attacks
- Public WiFi risks and safety measures
By the end of this half-day course, attendees will have a better understanding of common cyber threats and the techniques used to breach security. They will also learn best practices to prevent cyber attacks and protect their personal and professional information.
