Batting techniques focus on grip, stance, footwork, shot selection, timing, and building an innings. Learners then explore bowling techniques, comparing fast and spin bowling, bowling actions, seam and swing techniques, variations, and basic bowling strategies.
Fielding skills examine catching, ground fielding, positioning, reflex development, and agility. Wicketkeeping skills cover stumping, catching, movement behind the stumps, communication, and decision-making in match situations.
Game strategy and tactics introduce match conditions, situational awareness, opponent analysis, team roles, and mental preparation. Practice and application focus on creating practice plans, skill drills, fitness awareness, and simulated match scenarios.
The course concludes with assessments and review, allowing learners to reflect on skill development, complete written and practical evaluations, and set goals for continued improvement in cricket.
Upon successful completion of the Cricket Fundamentals: Techniques and Skills Level 2 Training course, learners will receive a free digital certificate provided by Reed confirming course completion.
