Introduction
Master MATLAB/Simulink for Power Electronics: Design, Simulation and Analysis
Course overview
This Power Electronics course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of power electronics devices, including rectifiers, dc-dc converters, and inverters, as well as their design and simulation in MATLAB/Simulink. Throughout the course, students will learn about the fundamental concepts of power electronics, including how these devices work and how to determine their performance. The course also covers the simulation of various power electronics circuits in MATLAB/Simulink, including half-wave and full-wave rectifiers, buck, boost, and buck/boost converters, and single-phase and three-phase inverters. Students will be able to follow along with the provided MATLAB/Simulink models and apply their knowledge to design their own power electronics devices that meet specific design specifications. Additionally, the course covers the implementation of a PID controller in MATLAB/Simulink, and provides a solid foundation in power engineering and electrical engineering simulations.
