The Level 7 qualifications in Management and Leadership are aimed at practising or aspiring senior managers, wishing to develop professional management and leadership practice.

The primary role of a practising manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams, enabling them to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy.

Becoming a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) can positively impact your salary. According to research commissioned by the (CMI), managers who achieve Chartered status see an average pay rise of £13,000.

Additionally, CMI qualifications can make individuals 9% more employable, potentially leading to higher earnings over their careers.

Whilst the CMI do not have specific entry requirements for this qualification we as a centre would hope that learners have at least a level 3 qualification and a good understanding of the written requirements at level 7 or can use their transferrable skills and leadership experience from their Armed Forces career.

Ideally you need to be working within an organisation or role where you can demonstrate skills and apply knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with.
