Who is this course for?
The Level 6 qualifications in Leadership and management are aimed at practising or aspiring multi level managers, wishing to develop professional management and leadership skills and implement leadership strategies throughout their construction industry career.
The primary role of a manager and leader is to have the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to drive business activities in a management and leadership role and lead and manage individuals and teams, enabling them to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy.
Becoming a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) can positively impact your salary. According to research commissioned by the (CMI), managers who achieve Chartered status see an average pay rise of £13,000.
Additionally, CMI qualifications can make individuals 9% more employable, potentially leading to higher earnings over their careers.
Requirements
Whilst the CMI do not have specific entry requirements for this qualification we as a centre would require learners to have at least a level 3 qualification and a good understanding of the written requirements at level 6.
Ideally you need to be working within a role where you can demonstrate skills and apply knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with.
