This qualification, awarded by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and regulated by Ofqual (QN: 603/2023/0), develops the essential capabilities of first line managers.

Learners will build confidence in areas such as:

The Diploma requires completion of a minimum of 370 Total Qualification Time (TQT) hours (37 credits) from a wide choice of units, allowing learners to tailor their programme to fit their role and career goals. Assessment is through practical work-based assignments, supported by tutor guidance and access to an online Academy.

This qualification also provides a progression route to higher-level study and supports career advancement into supervisory and management roles.
