When you think about Cisco, any novice can say its a backbone of Internet. Cisco has been there since 1982 - an early age of internet. Cisco was founded by two members of Stanford University staff Leonard Bosack and Sandy Lerner from the computer science and business department. A word 'Cisco' was derived from the city name San Fran CISCO.
What is the CCNA?
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching is a certification program for entry-level network engineers that helps maximize your investment in foundational networking knowledge and increase the value of your employer's network. The CCNA Routing and Switching validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size seven layer networks.
What qualification do I receive?
Achieving a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is the first step in helping you prepare for a career in networking. Pursuing the CCNA will help improve your skill sets and provide you with the ability to manage and optimize network systems. CCNA focuses on network infrastructure, mainly routing and switching, but it also includes wireless access, security, and connectivity to branch offices using WAN.

How will I take the exams?
This training course will prepare you for the 200-125 exam or you can can do it in two exams the 100-105 and 200-105.
With our exam package we provide full mock papers prior to you sitting your exams, so our team of tutors can evaluate your strengths and weaknesses before you take any of your final exams. When you are confident and ready you will be able to sit the official Cisco exam at your nearest exam centre (with over 150 exam centres available across the UK). Our learners have proven to have a very high first time pass rate on the exams – which is great for our statistics and for your personal development!
Who is this course for?
It is recommended that delegates looking to complete the Cisco CCNA training have prior experience in networking, or have completed the CompTIA Network+.
This is not essential to enrol with Robust IT however, as we have a package that will start you off right at the beginning and guide you through to getting your Cisco CCNA qualification.
