Our Child Safeguarding course has been split across the following modules and will take approximately 80 learning hours to complete. The course syllabus will cover the following modules:

- Legal Context
- What is Safeguarding?
- What is Child Protection?
- Vulnerability
- Understanding Child Protection Issues
- Adults working with children
- The Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) Role
- Referral to the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS)
- Safeguarding and Child Protection Good Practice
- End of course assessment
Accreditation
On successful completion of the course you will be awarded with:
Level 3 CPD Awarded in Child Safeguarding

This Child Safeguarding course included unlimited help and support from our dedicated tutor support team whilst you are studying the course.
Assessments
To pass the Child Safeguarding course learner must complete all modules of the course. Once these are completed at the end of the course learner will take an online multiple choice assessment test.
Study Method
This Child Safeguarding course is studied online through our eLearning campus. Once you enrol onto the course you will receive your own personal login credentials.
Enrolment Duration
The course requires 80 guided learning hours to complete, which is subjective and depends upon individual learning ability and how quickly information is absorbed.
