Unit 2 - Advance Calculations
Build up your payroll know-how by taking lessons on advanced calculations of NICs using table and exact percentage methods.
Unit 3 - Identifying Employment Status
Correctly identify employment status to apply appropriate treatment for PAYE tax and National Insurance contributions.
Unit 4 - Pay, Benefit and Tax (NICable)
Gain practical overview of payments and benefits subject to Tax and NIC to ensure your company meets its obligations in the aforesaid areas.
Unit 5 - Employment Termination Payment
Learn what employment termination payment is and understand appropriate tax treatment for this type of payment.
Unit 6 - General Procedures
Acquaint yourself with general procedures involving all aspects of tax and NICs for EU and foreign nationals, holiday pays, amending mistakes in PAYE and NICs deductions, etc.
Unit 7 - NIC's Procedure
Make sense of NICs rules and regulations relating to earnings periods, calculating directors’ NICs and employment status.

Unit 10 - Retirement Scheme
Become familiar with different retirement schemes and their related options, and also learn about taxation of pension of benefits.
Certificate

Course Format
This course consists of several modules, each of which is self-contained. This ensures that students can easily get the information they need when they need it.
Students can completely access the course using a PC/laptop. Our learning management system (LMS) is 24/7, the LMS itself is accessible online and operational everyday at any time, students have the freedom to tailor their study time around their existing schedules.
Course Duration
Estimated duration of completion for this course is 90 hours. Such number of hours may be cut shorter or may take longer depending on the students’ pace of learning and ability to take in information. Also, students’ may choose to study the modules over several sessions or complete the entire course in one sitting.
One year full access will be given to students who intend to take the course. The students can then define the pace at which they will complete all modules within the abovementioned period.
