Assessment Methods

The methods for assessing student performance are through an assignment of each unit to evaluate different aspects of learning outcomes. Learners may also be asked to write a Business Report covering all learning outcomes in each unit.

Who is this course for?

Level 8 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership is designed for Leaders, Directors, Managers, Administrators (regardless of any sector). We have students in this course who have a background in Business Management and Law, Health and Social Care, Education Management and Teaching, Public Service, Oil and Gas, Energy, Agriculture, Construction, Finance and Banking, and Retail.

It is not necessary to be in the senior management position, you can still study this course for personal, professional and career progression.

Requirements

We expect learners to have work experience or previous-level qualifications. We accept all qualifications - UK or overseas (regardless of any sector/subject) for this course. The learner should have at least 2-3 years of managerial experience to get enrolment. Learners are accepted based on entry criteria that may include an interview if we receive insufficient information during the application process.

Dear Gabe, this qualification is higher level than Master degree programme in the UK and accredited to UK RQF/QCF Level 8, equivalent to University Framework Qualifications Doctoral level. If you are interested to do master degree then a good route is to complete our Level 7 Diploma in Executive Management or Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership then you will be eligible for MBA Top Up with 120 credits transfer.

This course is accredited by Qualifi and regulated by Ofqual at Level 8 RQF (Equivalent level to Doctoral degree) and issued with 160 credits as compared to CMI (which is offering at the lowest credits). This course is a valid research leadership and management qualification for DBA.
