The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement(CAVA – formally A1 Assessors Course) is intended for those that wish to become qualified in assessing both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge, and understanding in a classroom, online, or other training environments.At Harriet Ellis we are also unique as unlike other providers we can provide access to the learners to complete your assessments, we also have placement opportunities available to those that complete the programme.
This qualification is suitable for those who wish to assess the progress in their work environment. This course provides our students with the knowledge, skills, and understanding of how to assess occupational and vocational competence in the work environment, as well as underpinning the principles and practices of assessment. The CAVA assessing qualification is fully accredited by City and Guilds and provides full certification on completion for the Level 3 programme.

There are no specific entry requirements; however, students should have a minimum Level 2 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent upon enrolment. The Level 3 CAVA course is suitable for learners 18 years of age and above.
