- If a child comes into contact with an allergen they are sensitive to, they may experience an allergic reaction. Understand the different ways you can come into contact with allergens and know how to prevent it, or limit the exposure. This includes advice on food hygiene and reducing the risk of cross-contamination of food allergens.
