This course is similar to our Pet First Aid course but for those who just want a course that only covers dogs. This course is aimed at anyone who requires a course in first aid for dogs. It is ideal for dog owners or dog professionals. Understanding basic first aid for your dog will give you the skills to assist them and prevent them from getting worse before professional help is given by your vet.
The certificate is valid for 3 years. With the online course, we add extra videos which you will be able to see for 8 months to keep you up to date with your skills. With our online classroom courses, you will receive free weekly refresher video emails to keep your skills fresh and update you on the latest news.
All students will receive a free login area to our website where you can download a free student manual and control other settings. Online students can print off their certificate online on completion, and classroom students will receive an official ProTrainings wall certificate and wallet card in the post after the course.
The content of this and all our courses have been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence-Based Learning statement. This course comes with 3.0 hrs (4.0 class) of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less than this. Total course time includes 1 hour and 49 minutes of video training as well as knowledge reviews, final test, remedial help and reviewing downloaded material.

Answer:Yes you can dip in and out of the training, simply click save and close and then log back in later and click resume. You have 8 months to complete the training once started.

Answer:Subtitles are available on most of our courses, by clicking on the CC icon at the bottom of the video. There is usually a transcript on the video page too. We also have training manuals that can be downloaded from the course resources section of your training dashboard.
