Overview
This International A Level Physics CAIE Course with Cambridge builds on the skills acquired at GCSE (or equivalent) level. The syllabus includes the main theoretical concepts which are fundamental to the subject, a section on some current applications of physics, and a strong emphasis on advanced practical skills. Practical skills are assessed in a timetabled practical examination.

Students completing the Full A Level will complete the above AS modules, and the following:

- Thermodynamics
- Oscillations
- Electric fields
- Capacitance
- Magnetic fields
- Alternating currents
- Quantum physics
- Nuclear physics
- Medical physics
- Astronomy and cosmology
AS Level Exams
There are three exams for the AS Level qualification.
A Level Exams
There are five exams for the full A Level qualification.
Practical Assessment
Experimental skills will be assessed in Paper 3 and Paper 5.

Requirements
There are no previous entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 24 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.
