Our teaching assistant Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Qualification course is an excellent foundation with all of the core competencies needed in the role of working as a Teaching Assistant.

The role of a teaching assistant includes supporting the teaching process in many ways that include:

Once enrolled our platform is available to our candidates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week giving you the flexibility to study in your own time at your own pace. The learning platform includes all teaching assistant course materials, assignments, podcasts of lessons with unlimited viewing, and tutor support to answer any questions about the course work. Our courses are presented and delivered by The Learning College.

When our teaching assistant courses are delivered they are always done so with an estimation of guided learning hours for each learner. The advantage with the way in which we deliver our courses is that you can study at your own pace reviewing the material as many times as you feel necessary to ensure you are comfortable with the information you are reviewing.

The estimated learning hours for the Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Teaching Assistant course is 80 guided learning hours.

As with any Learning Programme assessing your work is a vital part of tracking your progress. Our qualification offers continual feedback as your progress through the Teaching programme by assessing you in a variety of assignments as you work your way through the modules. These are then assessed by our qualified tutors and formative feedback given.

Upon successful completion of the Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Qualification a Certificate of Learning will be issued confirming you have met all of the criteria needed for the Qualification to be awarded.

There are no formal examinations required in this programme as all assessment is assignment based.
