All of us will have heard of Brainstorming. It’s a way to generate lots of ideas by bringing together a group of people to bounce off each other.

However, most brainstorming sessions are not particularly productive, with very little ‘out of the box’ thinking. But did you know that most of us are not brainstorming correctly? Our poor outcomes are generally down to a misunderstanding of how brainstorming should work. This course seeks to redress that.

It’s an important aspect of many roles to generate new ideas; it’s essential for product development, marketing and often the first step when pitching to clients. Idea generation is a vital part of problem solving, whether that problem is a tricky tender or an unacceptable product-return rate.
