Course Outline
The Qualifi Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement consists of 3 mandatory units, totalling 15 credits.
Mandatory Units:
- Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
- Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding
- Assess Occupational Competence in the Work Environment
Learning Outcomes:
- Develop an understanding of assessment principles and practices.
- Gain the ability to assess learners in both workplace and classroom/training environments.
- Produce evidence through practical assessments, work products, and observation.
- Build confidence in delivering fair, valid, and reliable assessments.
Assessment
- This qualification is assessed through written assignments, practical assessments, and evidence gathering.
- Learners will complete final assignments submitted via Inspire London College’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE/Moodle).
- Units 2 and 3 are assessed through practical application – observing and assessing learners in both a work environment and a classroom/training environment.
- All assessment criteria must be met to achieve a Pass. Learners may resubmit evidence until the required standard is achieved.
- No written examinations – fully coursework and practice-based.
