AS Level

Unit 1: GOVP1 People, Politics and Participation
Written examination: 1 hour 30 minutes

Unit 2: GOVP2 Governing Modern Britain
Written examination: 1 hour 30 minutes

A2 Level

Unit 3: GOV3A - The Politics of the USA
Written examination: 1 hour 30 minutes

Unit 4: GOV4A - The Government of the USA
Written examination: 1 hour 30 minutes

This course specification will prepare you for completion of your A’ Level, May/June 2016. If you wish to complete 2017, please advise us in order that we can ensure you follow the correct syllabus.

Students will be required to arrange and pay for their examinations at an AQA approved centre. We can provide an extensive list of these centres for you.

Requirements

t is recommended that students should be educated to GCSE Grade C or equivalent and have a reasonable standard of literacy. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 24 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.
