ABC Training Services Ltd brings you affordable health and safety training courses in the UK. We commit ourselves to providing excellent training services to cater for the requirements of all of our customers.

Description

Course duration – 4 hours, which can be split over two sessions.

Certificate will last for 3 years from the date of the course.

There is no formal exam, a certificate of attendance will be issued.

This course is not regulated by the HSE.

Cost: £70.00 + VAT per candidate

Content

On completion of training, candidates should be able to:

A) Understand the role of the first aider including reference to:

(i) The importance of preventing cross infection

(ii) The need for recording incidents and accidents

(iii) Use of available equipment

B) Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency

C) Administer first aid to casualty who is unconscious

D) Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation

E) Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded, bleeding and shock

F) Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries
