Examination Guidance

How is the exam assessed? (Exam not Included)

There are two examination routes for the qualification:

A three-hour paper with an additional 15 minutes reading time at the start where candidates must answer ten of sixteen questions.

If you are a PRINCE2® Practitioner, you will take a two-hour paper with an additional 10 minutes reading time at the start that recognises prior learning. In this paper, you must answer six of ten questions.

Project Manager: Responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects. The PMQ provides them with advanced methodologies and best practices to ensure project success.

Team Leader: Leads and manages a team to achieve specific project goals. This course helps them to strengthen their leadership skills and understand project management processes more deeply.

Business Analyst: Analyses business needs and requirements. The PMQ equips them with project management skills to effectively contribute to project planning and execution.

Consultant: Offers expert advice in project management. This qualification enhances their credibility and knowledge, enabling them to provide more effective solutions to clients.

Engineer: Often involved in managing engineering projects. The PMQ helps them to apply project management principles to technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

IT Project Manager: Manages IT projects, ensuring they meet technical requirements and business goals. The course offers specific strategies for handling the complexities of IT projects.

Operations Manager: Oversees production and operational processes. The PMQ provides tools for managing projects that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Construction Manager: Manages construction projects from start to finish. The qualification enhances their ability to plan, execute, and monitor construction projects effectively.

Product Manager: Oversees the development and delivery of products. The course helps them manage the product lifecycle and align project goals with business objectives.
