Both business analysis and Agile are designed with value in mind. Business analysts assess different aspects of a business, including its structure and key processes, in order to track performance and suggest improvements. Agile, meanwhile, encourages a greater level of adaptability and flexibility, making it easier to incorporate changes for the sake of creating more valuable end results.

‘Agile Business Analyst (AgileBA)’ is a framework designed to help business analysts thrive in Agile environments. It enables users to benefit from Agile practices while still maintaining top-level strategic awareness and a keen focus on business goals.

This AgileBA Foundation course provides an introduction to the AgileBA framework, explaining the basis of its creation and what kind of value it can bring to an organization. Students will learn about AgileBA tools, philosophies, and practices, and how they can empower both business analysts and Agile team members.

By the end of this course, students will be fully prepared to sit and pass the AgileBA Foundation certification exam. We provide a number of training assets to help with this, such as knowledge checks, interactive videos, and practice exams. Passing the AgileBA exam will demonstrate a candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the framework, allowing them to start building experience with what they’ve learned. It will also enable the candidate to sit the AgileBA Practitioner certification exam.

Benefits of Agile Business Analyst (AgileBA)

An AgileBA practitioner can offer a number of benefits to a business or organization. Within Agile projects, they are capable of analyzing processes and strategies in order to suggest improvements. However, they will also have a clear perspective on wider business elements, allowing them to keep team members focused on big-picture business goals. This can be essential in Agile projects, which can occasionally have teams losing sight of specific targets and limitations for the sake of implementing changes. With AgileBA, a business can enjoy the full benefits of Agile with far fewer risks.

The real value of the AgileBA Foundation syllabus is that it is not just relevant for practicing business analysts. The course is relevant for experienced and prospective analysts, as well as Agile team members wishing to understand or even specialize in business analysis. It can even be beneficial for managers and stakeholders who seek the kind of holistic understanding and perspective that AgileBA practices can supply.
