Description

It is an introduction into business and accounting course which is suitable for all learners new to accountancy, including those who are looking to return to work or change career or even set up their own businesses.

It’s a flexible, classroom based qualification that enhances your knowledge about accounts and increases your chances of becoming more employable. It gives you a full understanding to work within the Business World. You will gain the skills and confidence to build a career in business or accountancy. You can then progress onto a Level 2 apprenticeship or AAT course. You will learn to manage finances and the beginnings of accounts and you will also brush up on your IT skills.

This qualification will prepare you for junior and entry level accounting roles. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration - covering areas such as double entry bookkeeping to basic cash flow principles and using accounting software.
