Course Structure

The AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting course teaches the basic principles of accountancy, including double entry bookkeeping, and provides the skills you or your team needs to succeed in entry-level or accounting support roles.

It's highly flexible making it easy to fit learning around work commitments and family.

The course consists of four separate units. They are:

  • Introduction to Bookkeeping
  • Principles of Bookkeeping Controls
  • Principles of Costing
  • The Business Environment

Assessments:

There are four computer-based assessments for this course which you’ll sit at an AAT exam centre.
