Formerly a supply teacher agency set up by City of York Council, our strong and lasting relationships span many years and we have provided supply teachers at all levels of their careers. We’re a teaching agency with a difference – out of our profits we pay a dividend to the council, supporting services in the local community and our unique position allows us to be competitive whilst retaining our desire to be an ethical agency. We choose not to use Umbrella companies for our payroll processes and have a robust, rigorous and transparent recruitment process, maintaining a high level of quality and fully compliant school staff for supply, permanent, long-term and ad hoc roles.
Our schools team have more nearly 70 years’ combined experience and have grown a strong family of supply teachers and teaching assistants, allowing us to provide cover to schools in York, North Yorkshire and the East Riding.
