Working at UCFB

A world first in football and sports education, UCFB offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the football business and wider sport and events industries.

UCFB trains and educates individuals for roles in these industries. Taught in and around our world-class and unique campuses at Wembley Stadium, London, and the Etihad Stadium, Manchester, students become graduates and move on to first class employment within an industry they have a passion for. On top of this unparalleled access to some classrooms overlooking the pitch at these famous stadia, students also have the opportunity to use further world-class sporting and learning facilities during their time at UCFB.

We’re proud to say that 92% of UCFB graduates are in full time employment, and almost two thirds of those work in the football and sport industries with bodies such as The Football Association, Manchester United, AON, Opta and EDP Soccer in the US.

As well as learning from our band of experienced, industry-based academics, students have the opportunity to apply for truly amazing work experience placements in the UK and abroad. Previous students have worked at football clubs in Brazil, the UEFA Champions League final and England international games at Wembley. Thanks to our unique Complementary Curriculum and Executive Guest Speaker Series, students also get the weekly opportunity to hear from industry professionals, ask them questions and gain key contacts for their future careers. Guest speakers to date have included Gareth Southgate, Gabby Logan, Jamie Carragher and Hayley McQueen.

UCFB is proud to boast partnerships including The League Managers Association, The FA, the National League, the Rugby Football League and Real Madrid Graduate School. The expansion of football and sport means new jobs are being created on a daily basis, and at UCFB we pride ourselves on providing a gateway into the exciting multi-billion-pound industries of football, sport and events.
