In terms of both scale and significance, the Royal Collection is extraordinary. As an Art Handler, you’ll ensure the safe movement and installation of artworks across royal residences, as well as those on external loan, contributing to the success of Royal Collection Trust’s exhibition and loans programme. Key Responsibilities : You’ll help plan and co-ordinate picture moves and substitutions between royal residences, including the installation of exhibitions at The King’s Galleries in London and Edinburgh. Overseeing freelance technicians and art handling contractors, you’ll make sure every project runs smoothly and on time with care for the artworks at the forefront. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you’ll ensure that all handling, packing, and transport meet the highest conservation standards. Carrying out site visits, you’ll liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to assess practical requirements and develop effective solutions for each move. You’ll keep detailed records of all picture moves, ensuring accurate tracking within the collections management system. And your care of every item will help preserve one of the world’s finest collections of art for future generations. Essential Criteria: With hands-on experience in art handling, especially with large, framed oil paintings, you’re ready to take on new challenges in a historic setting. You have knowledge of the best practices for transporting and installing fragile artworks and are familiar with the tools and materials needed. An understanding of conservation or collections care with practical knowledge and hands on experience in maintaining and preserving historic collections will be key. Organised and proactive, you’re confident in managing complex logistics and can work independently while also thriving in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll be working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Comfortable working at height and with access equipment, you also possess basic woodworking skills. You hold a valid driving license and are ready to travel across the UK, working at different royal residences as needed. Art Handler

As home to a significant part of this remarkable Collection, Windsor Castle holds one of the finest collections of historic arms and armour, dating from the late bronze age to the 20th Century. As an Arms &amp; Armour Conservator based at our on-site conservation workshop, you'll join our team of talented conservation specialists overseeing and conserving a vast array of historic arms &amp; armour and related media. Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for a variety of conservation activities, primarily the treatment and maintenance of the Collection to preserve its condition. Your role will involve conserving historic arms and armour, applying industry best practices, and maintaining the Royal Collection, including composite objects. You will prepare treatment proposals, document conservation work, and assist with exhibitions and loans, including conducting condition reports and supporting installation at various venues. Collaborating with colleagues across the organization, you’ll ensure high standards of collections care and conservation, contributing to ongoing catalogue publications for arms and armour. You will also help maintain the specialist tools and equipment used for conservation, ensuring they are safe, compliant with health and safety regulations, and ready for use. You will complete necessary health and safety training to ensure adherence to best practices and regulations. Additionally, you will participate in conservation maintenance programs and manage the movement of works of art in the Royal Collection Management System. And knowing that you're helping to preserve a collection that will be enjoyed by millions means you'll aim for the highest standards in all that you do. About You You'll be educated in a relevant discipline and have completed a Metals Conservation course along with previous experience in conserving historic arms and armour. With relevant conservation skills and a working knowledge, you understand the technicalities of working with historic arms and armour and will be confident evaluating items as well as proposing practical conservation treatments. You'll have been exposed to the process of setting up temporary exhibitions, with knowledge of the various processes involved including storage, packing and installation. A good command of relevant IT programs will be important too to use our collection database. You’ll be a strong communicator, have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and be able to make your own decisions when required. What's more, you're exceptional eye for detail means you'll be driven to maintain the very highest standards of care and conservation. Arms & Armour Conservator

It's supporting the team to deliver extraordinary events Supporting the Head of Events and their team you'll be involved in the many remarkable and varied activities that form the official and private Royal calendar. Key responsibilities You'll provide administrative support to the team, coordinating the internal room booking process and managing the events queries inbox. You’ll also play a contributing role in the co-ordination of a variety of Royal and internal events including collating and cross-checking guest lists, writing invitations, producing admittance cards and name badges. With responsibility for handling and filing all paperwork coming through the department, you’ll ensure we comply with records management and keep the operation running smoothly. As you develop in the role, you’ll become more involved in other aspects of event planning such as advising on event requirements and arranging external contractors. Keeping up with a busy and ever-changing schedule will be critical. You'll play a vital role within the department, effectively communicating event information to all operational teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery of each booking. And you'll always be one step ahead. Whether you're helping to co-ordinate a small board meeting or a Royal function for two hundred, you'll guarantee the highest standard of delivery. Essential Criteria Ideally you’ll have some relevant customer service experience and an ambition to start your career in Events administration and management. You’ll have strong IT skills, with confidence across a range of software packages and systems. You’ll be comfortable picking up new technologies and using them effectively. Your attention to detail will be exceptional, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and to a high standard. You're a natural organiser, able to handle multiple priorities and work to short deadlines. You'll also be a confident communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to build professional relationships with a wide range of people and seniority. A real team player, you're able to work flexibly and effectively even when things get busy. With the ability to think quickly on your feet, you're equally comfortable working independently. Events Administrator

As an IT Support Analyst based in our London Office, you’ll be a key member of the System Infrastructure team within the Royal Collection Trust and act as the first point of contact for users across the commercial operations of the organisation. You’ll provide both face-to-face and remote support on 1st and 2nd line issues, combining strong technical knowledge with good business and advisory skills. You’ll undertake a broad range of work in a variety of environments, building on your expertise whilst delivering first-class customer service. Key Responsibilities: You’ll proactively monitor ticket queues in our IT Service Management (ITSM) System and resolve issues and requests within agreed SLAs, providing regular updates to tickets and end users. You’ll maintain user accounts and authentication methodologies on a wide range of solutions, including Azure. You’ll fully engage with defined processes such as new joiners, leavers, change enablement and asset management You’ll build and maintain Royal Collection Trust’s commercially managed hardware and its integrations, including PoS terminals, PCs, specialist printers, P2PE payment devices and scanners. You’ll assist with the technical operation of the specialist commercial applications, ensuring they are fully operational at all times. You’ll undertake user acceptance testing of developments and upgrades to commercial systems and their associated infrastructure in line with agreed criteria and testing scripts. You’ll assist with the planning and setup of new and temporary 'stores’ across Royal Collection Trust’s commercial estate. Essential Criteria: With a solid background in analytical troubleshooting and a wealth of technical knowledge, you’ll have the capability to support issues and incidents at first and second levels. You’ll bring an understanding of excellent client service and delivery to the highest standards, complemented by your excellent verbal and written communication skills. Digitally fluent and with a passion for IT applications, you have working knowledge of commercial applications such as a Retail or Ticketing system. You’ll have experience of hardware setup and configuration, including PCs and peripheral devices, as well as call logging software / ITSMs. Working in a fast-paced, changing environment, you’ll be able to alter priorities quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with the ability to work independently whilst being a strong, dependable team player. Organised and pro-active, with lots of initiative and an ability to work at pace, you'll juggle a varied workload, effectively balancing priorities and deadlines. Whilst a ITIL qualification (ITIL Service Delivery / ITIL Foundation) would be beneficial, it’s your enthusiasm to learn and passion to deliver the highest standards of customer service that we’re interested in.
