You’re a general manager from a hotel and hospitality background, looking for your next role where you can make a real impact. You know what ‘good’ looks like, can engage and motivate a team, and are a natural communicator with a commercial mindset. The organisation is a new venture founded by experienced operators in the leisure and hospitality sector. They currently have several large sites that they are converting into ‘countryside hangouts’, featuring restaurants, bars, a range of sports, and eco cabins for short-term breaks. This is their first site, and you’ll be their first General Manager. You will support the team leaders in each area and also be hands-on, with a keen eye for detail on how the rooms are presented, the grounds are maintained, and the service and delivery across food and beverage. The team at this site is approximately 50 people, and you will have the support of group functions. Not burdened by layers of process, the organisation is agile, decisions are made swiftly, and there is a strong sense of optimism with new sites opening and positive reviews already coming in. Based Farrington Gurney, The salary is 50k– 60k, plus a 5,000 TRONC payment and an additional bonus plan. This is a five-day-a-week role.

General Manager

Assistant Manager Salary : 30,000 plus 4,500 bonus and excellent benefits (this is based on the average minimum bonus paid out across the group). Location: Inverness My client is a growing and financially strong leisure business, with a passion for bringing families and friends together for affordable fun and healthy competition. Having opened this site earlier in the year they have had an outstanding several months. Due to a recent promotion they are looking for an Assistant Manager to join their team. You will receive a thorough induction, will be set you up for success and make sure you are fully trained across all areas of the busy centre. Within their fast-paced, dynamic world, you will be at the very centre of their experience, to support the effective operation of the business, injecting fun and positivity into the team and enhancing the customer journey. Your responsibilities will range from coaching and mentoring the team, and running an exceptional operation, front-of-house, to supporting the Deputy and General Manager back-of-house in delivering on centre goals and financial targets. You will be responsible for guaranteeing that your centre has the best standards and service in the industry to ensure the centre is a safe and fun environment for our customers. This is a HR role where HR is pivotal to the business, where the HR strategy is aligned to the business objectives, and you partner and work alongside the management population. It will be 3 - 6 month Fixed term contract. This is a broad role involving HR Advising, and also transactional HR. As an organisation they are financially strong, with several large sites across the UK, and currently open a new site in the site in the North East. For this role you will based at their Coventry site, working closely with the HR Manager. The population is mixed from operational to support staff. The headcount at this site is shy of 350 so locally you will also pick up the HR co-ordination. The main focus of the role is Employee relations - mainly first line support. This will be a mixture of managing these cases but mainly the managers will own them. You will have support of the HR Manager and Senior HR Manager at this site. You will have full sight of the entire employee journey from Recruitment, Inductions, ER training and development while also working with the HR Manager on future projects focusing on engagement and retention. In addition you will have the support of subjects experts in Recruitment, L&amp;D, Reward, and working closely with the wider UK and Ireland HR team. As a team they are open, informal in their approach and have a strong team ethic.
