Do you want to be part of Europe’s largest construction project, and help to build the first nuclear power station in the UK in a generation?

Somerset Passenger Solutions was formed in 2016 as a joint venture between First Group and JJP Holdings, to serve the passenger transport needs of the largest construction project in Europe – Hinkley Point C. 

Since 2016, we have seen huge growth. We began with 40 employees and 8 vehicles increasing to almost 500 employees and a growing fleet of vehicles which will increase further as our projects evolve and diversify. It makes us one of the fastest growing businesses in the South West.

We transport thousands of people per day to and from the site, working 24 hours a day to ensure that construction remains on schedule. Our fleet of over 150 modern buses and coaches use advanced tracking and telematics to ensure we deliver the best possible service for clients and customers. 

We’re looking for new staff that have great customer service skills, are flexible and have a can-do attitude to help make our already great service even better.

We work as one team

Driver, controller, working in the office or a manager, everyone works together as one team to deliver fantastic results.

We strongly encourage feedback, and recognise and reward our staff. Any questions, queries or suggestions can be raised at weekly meetings or on dedicated feedback forms, and this feedback is sent directly to the executive team for discussion and response. We encourage two-way communication between all staff to ensure that issues are dealt with quickly and great ideas are implemented.
