You'll be working with some of the biggest clients in the world such as banks, retailers, corporate offices and big brands, and play a crucial role controlling incidents in a skilled and organised way whilst adhering to escalation procedures. We have an excellent reputation within the industry and our highly trained staff deal with a wide range of alarm and guarding systems, covering security, fire, CCTV, environmental alarms. Location: Wavendon, Milton Keynes MK17 8LX Salary: Starting at 24,985 incrementally increasing to 28,072 after completion training modules. Shifts: 12 Hours on a 4-day rolling period. (4 Days On, 4 Days Off) We operate 24/7, 365 days a year. Day Shift: 6AM to 6PM, Evening Shift: 6PM to 6AM What you will do… Effectively process alarm activations across a variety of platforms in accordance with customer-defined specifications ensuring a duty of care to all staff. Manage mobile alarm call outs and provide solutions in a timely manner. Monitor CCTV and respond to all customer requests relating to their alarm system and escalate issues accordingly. Experience within a control room is preferred but not essential. Answer all calls promptly with a high level of customer service, giving assistance to internal and external customers, including liaising with third parties and contractors, as required. Ensure that all systems/databases are updated in a timely and accurate manner. Provide client reports. What you will need… Excellent customer service skills - Able to communicate at all levels. From maintaining a safe environment for fans at Wembley Stadium or monitoring CCTV for savers cash at a global Bank, through to guarding the real estate and construction workforce for one of the UK's largest Rail infrastructure projects, our Security Officers play an integral role in making people feel safe. How you will make an impact as a Security Officer: Reporting to the onsite Supervisor, the Relief Security Officer will be based on a large site for an international defence, aerospace and security company. You will play a vital security role in protecting critical information for air, maritime, land and cyber domains. You will be required to securely guard the property, company assets, visiting customers and employees of our client. You will also be required to carry out patrols across a large facility, walking perimeters both internally and externally. You will be required to man a static guardhouse and sign in company visitors. You will always remain alert and vigilant to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening activity. As a Security Officer, you will retain full control of any threatening behaviour until the arrival of the Police or other external agency. Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed recording and reporting all faults, health and safety hazards. You will operate radios other physical security equipment used on site.
