Paperchase has a colourful history spanning more than 50 years. Launched by a pair of art students in 1968, we have grown into an iconic British brand with a global presence.

With all things celebration at our core, we are the (smiley) face of the positive moments in life for customers in more than 101 stores across the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland. Since the very beginning we have been bringing joy to the everyday through our innovative and design-led cards, wrap, stationery and gifts.

Our mission here is to spread a little joy every day…and that’s more than a collection of words, it’s a way of thinking, acting and preparing ourselves for every task we undertake.

We are a fun and colourful Company, with a passion for creativity and innovation at our hearts.

Our story started in the swinging sixties with two fresh thinking and bold Art and Design Students who created popping graphic prints and patterns and applied then to stationary, wrap and cards.

Several decades later, the creative spirit that inspired the start of Paperchase is still going strong at our Paperchase Studios and underpins our four brand values, to be:
