Jack Richards & Son is a family business, so our senior people take a close interest in the development of all company staff. Regular staff meetings and an ‘open door’ policy allows everyone to contribute to the success of both the business and their own career development.
For this reason it is not uncommon to have people with us for many, many years, so new jobs don’t always come up as often as people who may want to join us would like. Opportunities do come up though as the company grows.
Established in 1956, we have continually expanded with a fleet of over 300 vehicles and over 500 general haulage drivers.
Our drivers are a vital part of the operational side of the business; our front line contact with customers and the general public. So it’s always important for us to find the right people and then keep them with us. We have drivers who have long-service records extending back over 40 years, and would like to see a continuous crop of dedicated Jack Richards & Son drivers and team members coming along to keep the tradition alive.
