IQA is a leading provider of utility contracting services to distribution network operators, the private sector and the public sector across the UK.

Established in 2002, IQA now employs over 250 people across our five sites: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Caernarfon and Newcastle Upon Tyne.

By providing a range of engineering solutions, IQA upgrades ageing cable, switchgear, equipment, infrastructure and roll out across Scotland, North and North West of England and North of Wales.

IQA also specialises in building services contracting which includes substation installation and maintenance, overhead power line design and build, cable laying, cable jointing, multi utilities projects and telecoms networks.

In June 2012, IQA became part of Spanish multinational, Elecnor Group. Elecnor has over 15,000 employees and over 60 years’ experience, working across the areas of electricity infrastructure, renewable energies and new technologies.
