Our key business areas include; Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire and Middlesex. Clients range from SME's and 'start ups' through to global blue chip organisations.

The Commercial Permanent Division

Our Senior Recruitment team which covers vacancies for all Qualified Accountants: ACCA, CIMA, ACA, and CIPFA. They typically recruit Financial and Management Accountants, Finance Managers, Analysts, FP & A Managers, Financial Controllers and Directors.

Our Part Qualified/Accountancy Support team which recruits all non-qualified roles in Accountancy Support: Bookkeepers, Part Qualified Accountants, QBE's, Accounts Assistants, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Payroll staff, Trainees and Graduates.

Contract & Temporary Division

The Contract and Temporary Division provides cost effective, quality non-permanent staffing solutions. Ranging from short to long term contracts across all finance disciplines including; Accounts functions, Tax, Treasury and Internal Audit.

Executive Division

Howett Thorpe Executive provides tailored solutions to businesses across the Southeast for all board level appointments. The executive division also provides effective solutions for covering interim vacancies, business improvement or organisation restructures.

Public Practice Division

We have strong relationships with a range of accountancy firms from Independent Firms to the Top Tier and Big Four in locations including Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Dorset, Buckinghamshire, Sussex and London.

We specialise in Corporate Recovery & Insolvency, Corporate Finance, Corporate and Personal Tax, VAT, Book Keeping & Accounts and of course, Audit (both Internal and External).

Risk & Internal Audit

Our Specialist Audit division is responsible for Internal Audit, Internal Control, Risk, Sox (Sarbanes Oxley) and Compliance roles.

Tax

We offer recruitment advice and solutions for all levels of Tax appointments from Graduate, Trainee and ATT studiers, through to ATT, CTA, STEP and ACA Qualified candidates and Senior Manager and Partner positions.
