Working at Fraser Home Care Ltd

What we do

We know, from personal experience, that choosing a care company is a big decision. We want to share our concept of Caring with you and give you a feel for our fresh approach here at Fraser Home Care…when we leave an appointment we want to leave our clients with a smile on their face.

Our clients receive their care the way they want it delivered. Clients will be actively involved in every stage of their care decision-making, starting with design and delivery of their personal care plan.

As a close-knit family ourselves we are highly aware that emotional support for clients and concerned family members can be just as important as providing physical care. It is in-built ,in the support we provide, that we always keep in close contact with concerned family and friends.

All record sheets can be readily available to view in the clients’ home. Any on-going observations from family or friends can be discussed through a call to our office at any time.

Who you'll work with

Fraser Home Care staff must desire to make a positive difference to the quality of life of those in their care. We are only interested in employing the best Carers.

We are a young business whose stated aim is to grow only through the availability of top quality care staff. We are not prepared to compromise either our client’s care experience, or our reputation, by attempting to grow more quickly than the availability of quality staff allows.

To that end we have a rigorous selection process that includes competency testing, reference checks and background clearance… We pose ourselves a critical question… Would we trust this person to look after our parent in their home? That person only joins our care team if the answer is an unequivocal ‘yes’.

Carers are carefully matched and, if time allows, introduced before they begin delivering care. We have a professional dress code but do not wear uniform, as we recognise some clients would feel stigmatised when our staff accompany them out and about in the local community. We are quick to react, vigilant in our duty of care and always aim to raise a smile!

In the engine room we believe it’s important that our clients, their families and our staff all receive the very best support from Fraser Home Care. Our backroom staff are chosen for their positive and friendly attitude, as well as their proven professionalism and ability to resolve any issues that come their way.
