Working at Fires and Fireplaces

We are a family run fire, fireplace and stove showroom in Derby, now trading for over 30 years from the same location. We have over 50 fireplaces on display as well as many gas/electric fires, wood burning stoves and much more.

The company directors (father & 3 sons) are all involved in the day to day running of the business as well as 2 other full time staff members. We sell direct to the general public and most jobs are installed by our full time fitting team of 2 gas engineers.

Our aim is to offer excellent customer service and high quality products at competetive prices. We aim more towards the mid to higher range of fires, fireplaces and stoves available.

Currently the showroom is managed between one of the company directors and another member of staff, with the daily duties shared equally. We also have 2 of the other directors in the showroom part-time to help out especially on the mid week rest days of the main 2 and Saturdays.

There is also a 2 man installation team consisting of another director and a second full time employee, both qualified Gas Safe engineers.
