Encocam Ltd, parent company of 8 divisions, is a privately-owned progressive and innovative engineering company, founded nearly 30 years ago by Managing Director Dr. Mike Ashmead. 

One of the region's largest exporters, with 4 sites in the UK and additional offices in Spain, Germany, USA and Japan, Encocam are leading experts in the development and manufacture of energy absorbers, crash test barriers and Anthropomorphic Test Devices (crash test dummies).  

Our specialist divisions include Cellbond, BCP Honeycomb Structures, Corex Honeycomb, Stonehill Engineering, Mykon, Herald Motorcycle Co, Racetek, and EuroRoad Safety. In 2017 Cellbond received the Queen's Award for Export: International Trade.

We work with clients spanning a large range of industries including the Automotive, Energy, Architectural, Construction, Defence, Marine, Rail, Engineering, Manufacturing, Road Safety, and Motorcycle sectors. 

The business is supported across all divisions by teams of specialists in a Central Services building.  The teams include HR, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and Supply, Despatch, IT, Accounts and Quality, all of whom work closely together.  Each team in Central Services supports the whole range of divisions, so every day is guaranteed to be different.

All products are manufactured and distributed from three sites, enabling strict control over quality and ensuring top customer service. Encocam has obtained the quality certification IS0 9001:2008. Quality is of paramount importance and key measurements are put in place across the company to monitor this enabling us to be competitive in price, quality and lead times.

Despite being a small knit group inside an ever expanding business, our people come from various parts of the world bringing the diversity of skills and personalities which helps make Encocam such a great place to work. Today our team is made up of 21 nationalities.
