What we do

Embec Care is an award winning home care agency which has been running for 12 years.

We are seeking a caring person who is able to empathise with the individuals they will be supporting within the local community which includes a 15 minutes travel time from the office. As a company we do not agree with visits being less than 30 minutes so a professional relationship can be built and pressure is relived from care workers.

Successful candidates will be required to;

1 - Assist people to maintain their personal hygiene
2 - Support with medication
3 - Ensure property is maintained to a clean standard
4 - Support where appropriate with taking to and from appointments
5 - Link with other health professional to ensure that the individual is receiving the best support possible.

Rotas are completed a week in advance.
All staff are entitled to statutory annual leave however more is available.

Staff are provided with;

1 - Full PPE (shoe protectors, face masks, face shields, gloves, aprons, hand wash, hand gel)
2 - Full uniform (polo tops and fleece)
3 - A mentor who is available throughout their employment
4 - A work phone which enables individuals to switch off from work on days off
5 - Unlimited refreshments whilst working

All staff are encouraged to complete Qualifications and any additional training FREE of charge.

DBS is required and paid for by the company.

The company also use NEST who are our pension provider which you have full access to.

A choice of working Christmas or New Year is offered and staff will never be expected to work both.

Bank Holidays are paid at time and a half rate.
Christmas Day and New Years Day are paid at double rate.

All staff are salaried and overtime is available and paid that month.

Regular thank-you gifts are given as appreciation. Such as Amazon Gift Vouchers.
