Working at EKIM Consulting

What we do

Ekim Consulting is a relatively new business where a number of people - who have worked together in the past, have decided to join forces once again to provide clients with the best talent to support the realisation of their business goals. As a collaboration of independent consultants, we are unburdened by restrictive and formulaic approaches to recruitment which are endemic in the industry. We all have our foundations in the established search and interim firms yet have chosen to develop a new and innovative way to work with our clients. We are driven by a strong desire to do good work; to help and guide our clients to find and secure top talent from the broadest field of choice; to be the critical friend and a reliable source of opinion; and to work with them as partners.

We are more than recruiters; we have a deep understanding of the challenges that face businesses at every stage of their development and we work with our clients to determine the right talent solutions for them - whether permanent or interim, executive or non-executive - and then find the best people. We have many years of experience in providing interim management and executive search services both in the UK and internationally. Our various practice areas help organisations find and engage professional interim managers to support them through times of change, growth and transformation, and identify and secure top talent for senior permanent roles.

Our principal practice areas are Defence & Aerospace, Financial Services, Health, Legal & Professional Services and Retail, supported by functional cross sector practices that focus on Change & Programme Leadership, Digital & Technology, Finance, HR, Risk & Compliance, and Security & Resilience. As a collective, we have worked across all principal segments of Financial Services – retail, corporate and investment banking, asset and investment management, insurance and payments. Our clients have ranged from global financial institutions to regional and local mutuals, as well as start-ups and early stage businesses in the fintech and challenger space
