Working at Citizens Online

What we do

Citizens Online supports those who are digitally excluded and most likely to face social and economic disadvantage to reduce inequalities across communities. Those most at risk include the elderly, low income earners, disabled people or those with poor literacy skills. We also support people with English as an additional language including refugees and migrants.

Citizens Online has responded to the Covid-19 to incorporate remote skills support delivery and a tablet loan scheme. In addition it launched a Freephone helpline (advert below) to support members of the public with their digital skills. The helpline is staffed by a team of volunteers.

Citizens Online provides training for individuals to become ‘digital champions’. Digital Champions support those who want to get online or need help with their digital skills.
