We’re here to make home repairs and improvements easy for everyone. Our
vision is to make Checkatrade the number one place homeowners go to get their
jobs done by quality tradespeople. Whilst we’re a 24-year-old business, a big transformation has been taking place over the last three years to meet this ambition. We’ve built the UK’s leading brand, expanded our trades base (44,000 trades FY21), and have seen record levels of consumer demand. In fact, over the next few years we plan to grow our membership base 4-fold, alongside significant growth in homeowners using our marketplace for getting their jobs done - while making the process as easy as possible for homeowners and trades alike.

We don’t just let any tradespeople join though. For over 20 years we’ve only been connecting consumers with recommended, monitored, and vetted tradespeople, with new members going through a minimum of 12 checks before they even get on to our platforms. It’s our belief that ‘if they don’t get through our door, they won’t get anywhere near yours.’

Just like we are for our members, we’re quite particular about our employees too, and we’re only looking for exceptional talent to join us on our exciting journey.
