CBM Accountants are a small accounts firm who pride ourselves on putting our clients first.
Our Partners, Graham Bennett, Caroline Hood and Stephen Leonard have worked together for many years and always make time to see their clients on a regular basis providing a personal service often lost in modern society.
We are experts in Tax and Tax Planning but also provide a multitude of other services to include Company Formation, VAT, Payroll & Automatic Enrolment, Accounts Preperation, Software Support, Management Accounting, Credit Control Services and General Book Keeping.
The open office plan makes it a social and enjoyable place to work with many people having varying areas of expertise allowing a collaberative programme of works.
Our client base is very broad spanning small sole traders to large interconnected companies. Business sectors include Construction, Retail, Health Care, Education, E-Commerce, Professional, Scientific & Technical Services, Wholesale, Education, Manufacturing, Accommodation & Food Services, Transport and Arts & Recreation to name a few. This gives wonderful variety to staff roles as individual portfolios will contain a good mixture of clients covering both different forms and sectors.
At least one of the partners is usually working in the main open office with all other staff which ensures open communication and a good relationship as there are no barriers between staff and partners.
There are varied roles within the staff team, some concentrating on Accounts Production and Tax Computations within IRIS, another on Payrolls and Automatic Enrolment along with some Practice Admin, some working on Sage book keeping and admin and another who oversees the Cloud based clients including Xero and Quickbooks Online taking care of all book keeping, Compliance, software support and accounts prep for Cloud software based clients.
The firm is moving forwards with the times having expertise in Xero and other online cloud accounting software, whilst still actively supporting those desktop based software and "paperbag clients".
