Our aim at Care 4 Children is to rebuild the lives of children through our unrivalled expertise. We care for children that have experienced severe trauma through past abusive experiences, specialising in sexual trauma & criminal exploitation in addition to specialist fostering placements.

We are a specialist owner operator with a leadership team that have excelled for over 60 combined years in giving their all and going the extra mile for looked after children, receiving the highest number of Ofsted outstanding rated services in the residential children's homes sector.

We are as passionate about putting children first and achieving the best possible outcomes, as we were on day one. We are constantly striving to ensure that children receive the best possible care, education and therapy that they have an absolute entitlement to. We want to help them make sense of their past, their present and support them in building the necessary skills to successfully transition into adulthood.

Care 4 Children have developed a therapeutic approach that we have called 'Wellbeing for Life'©. This is a three phase recovery programme that incorporates building a secure base, undertaking life story work and therapy and supporting children to develop self-soothing techniques.

Each placement has ongoing psychological monitoring and monthly evidence based reporting and these are provided to Local Authorities highlighting where the child is within their recovery programme. Our approach is based on a form of psychotherapy known as milieu therapy, that involves providing a supportive environment and therapeutic community.
