In 1978, Louise Brown – the first ‘test tube baby’ – was born following decades of pioneering work by our founders, Professor Robert Edwards and Dr Patrick Steptoe.
Following this historic breakthrough, our founders set up Bourn Hall Clinic near Cambridge two years later – the first IVF clinic in the world.
More than 30 years on – and thousands of babies and happy families later – we are still proud to share the same values as our pioneering fertility fathers.
Our values are - Passion, Adaptability, Commitment, Teamwork and Collaboration
Joining the Bourn Hall family, you will become part of something very special. We offer excellent and supportive working environments helping people achieve their dreams of creating a family of their own.
Bourn Hall is one of the UK’s top fertility treatment centres – a place of reassurance for anyone having difficulty conceiving, where we offer support in a relaxing, caring environment designed specifically to suit the needs of fertility patients.
To do this, we need to attract and retain dedicated, team-orientated people who work with professionalism and flair. You’ll need to be skilled, motivated and enthusiastic about your work – and share our values of passion, adaptability, commitment and collaboration.
We welcome diversity, ideas and energy. In return, we offer you training and ongoing development. Together, we can continue to raise our levels of expertise and quality, and give our patients the best possible chance of success and the highest standards of care.
Our jobs offer challenging and fulfilling work to the right candidates, and we provide excellent training and coaching to encourage your personal and professional growth. We believe everyone wants to succeed, and our roles, work environment and support enable you to do so.
