Working at Avondale Care

We are a family run, accomodation, wellbeing and recovery service which has been running in East Kent for over 30 years. As we have expanded and are continuing to expand, we strive to maintain the family feel across the business. We value our employees and their experience greatly, everyone of our management team began as a support worker.

At Avondalecare we have a few different teams located across Thanet, Dover, Canterbury and Gravesend. We provide a support service with supported living accomodation , shared housing, a residential home and also a domicilary care team. 

We provide support for individuals with a range of mental health diagnosis', learning difficulties and ASD. Our support aims to develop individuals to become resilient, self reliant and as independent as possible within a warm and encouraging environment.

All our employees work hard with our clients to help develop their skills in order to provide them with the opportunities to succeed and progress towards their goals.

We are extremely passionate across Avondalecare about collaborating and working with each individual client to consistently improve our service, drive its direction and provide opportunities with a person centred approach.

 Mental health and that of our employees is extremely important to us, we are all trained in mental health first aid and promote mindfulness within our workplace.

You will work with an extremely supportive team, who regularly work closely together to provide the best support for our service users. We regularly partake in team building days and activities so all our employees feel supported and appreciated within their role at Avondalecare.
