Key accountabilities Based at our site in Leeds we are looking for Processing Operatives to work one of these shifts 06.00 to 14.00 Monday to Friday OR 14.00 to 22.00 Monday to Friday The role will involve operating heavy machinery such as a saw / drilling Machine, fork-lift trucks and overhead cranes. The site processes thousands of tonnes of steel each week and so health and safety is a primary concern for us. As such, you’ll be given full training on how to operate all the machinery in our site as well as manual handling and general health and safety training. What you’ll need To be successful in the role you will have experience operating a profiling machine, Drill / Saw Machine or similar CNC machines preferably in a manufacturing, Steel , warehousing or distribution environment. We will also expect all applicants to show a real passion for health and safety and want to be a part of continually improving our site. Processing operative

The role is to: We are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to work from our site in Biddulph. Hours of work are 6am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Carry out driving &amp; related duties involved with the carriage of goods to &amp; from ASD client locations. Ensuring driving is carried out in a safe &amp; efficient manner, in full compliance with road traffic regulations. To oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises, ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed &amp; returned without delay. To check the load security &amp; weight distribution according to latest safe working practices before setting out &amp; after each drop. As required, &amp; appropriately trained, works mobile equipment to load &amp;/or unload vehicles. Follows best practices for fuel efficient driving. Participates in Ten Commandments continuous improvement activities (TPM, 5S, etc). Actively takes responsibility for keeping vehicle clean &amp; tidy. Is proactive in identifying potential health &amp; safety hazards in the workplace. Ensures vehicles are in safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use, &amp; are operated in a safe manner. As required accurately updates documentation relating to the carriage of products. Relevant skills: Full DCPC Used to working in a flexible, results oriented, team environment. Drivers are required to fulfil 35 hours of training for their DCPC Has worked in warehousing or distribution business. HGV driving skills (&amp; licensed to the appropriate vehicle class). Able to read written instructions &amp; record accurately work carried out. Understanding and experience of EHS requirements, in a warehouse or distribution environment. Class 2 HGV Driver

Key accountabilities Based at our site in Thurrock we are looking for a Warehouse Operative. The role will involve operating heavy machinery such as fork-lift trucks and overhead cranes. As such, you’ll be given full training on how to operate all the machinery on our site as well as manual handling and general health and safety training. Hours of work are 10am - 8pm Monday to Friday What you’ll need To be successful in the role you will have experience with an overhead crane and either a side loader or saw preferably in a manufacturing, Steel, warehousing or distribution enviromnet. Warehouse operative

Key accountabilities We are currently recruiting for a Plater Welder for our Westok division in Leeds. The main purpose of the role is to efficiently conduct plating / Mig Welding to draughtsman drawings, maintaining a safety and quality 1st approach including fabrication of structural steel and plate work Role overview: Work Safely and provide work that meets our Quality standards (in line with ISO-9001). Use of MIG welding plant to produce fillet, and butt welds. Maintain condition of tools and equipment. Report damage or malfunction of equipment promptly. Experience in using air-arc to gouge / prepare weld areas. Visually inspect work Maintain a tidy workplace in line with company 5S procedures. Flexible enough to work additional hours, dictated by business workload as we endeavour to meet customer demand. Motivated to develop self in other critical process.
