Abbeyfield is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making the lives of older people easier and more fulfilling. Abbeyfield helps people to live independently by providing a range of services, all of which are linked to the local community.

Abbeyfield’s vision is to provide a service which offers a home for life, integrated in a local community with high quality accommodation and a stimulating environment to maintain a socially active community that will directly benefit the mind, body and soul.

Abbeyfield The Dales have a number of large and smaller houses in the Yorkshire area, offering a range of Independant Living, Independant Living with Extra Care, Residential and Respite services.

Abbeyfield The Dales head office is at Grove House in Ilkley, where our Management, Recruitment, Finance and Administrative Teams are based.
