Development and QC Chemist Annual Salary: 33,000 - 37,000 Location: West Yorkshire Job Type: Permanent, Full-time, fully site based We are seeking a Development and QC Chemist to join our client's team. This role is essential for supporting their&nbsp;production processes, resolving technical issues, and driving product development and quality control.&nbsp; Day-to-day of the role: Provide production support by resolving technical issues and investigating customer complaints. Develop and enhance the product portfolio by improving existing products and introducing new solutions. Undertake research projects focused on expanding product range, improving quality, and optimising costs. Collaborate with the Purchasing Controller to source new materials and identify suppliers that enhance manufacturing quality and efficiency. Work closely with the Customer Service Team and Quality Improvement Manager to address customer concerns promptly and protect the company’s online reputation. Analyse competitor products to ensure our technology remains competitive and innovative. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine quality checks throughout production to ensure products meet food safety, quality, and customer requirements.
