Prospectus is thrilled to collaborate with our esteemed client, a leading global university, in their pursuit of a temporary Residence Hall Assistant. This role is dedicated to nurturing an environment conducive to the academic and personal development of residents. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) looking to run until August 1st, situated onsite at least 4 days a week in Central London. Working hours are from 2pm to 10pm, Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday. There will be an opportunity to work from home one day per week, on either a Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday if that was a preference, use of own equipment would be required, although you can also work from the office on all days. The responsibilities primarily revolve around activities across the university's London campus, encompassing weekly meetings, check-ins/checkouts. The post holder will share rotational on-call duties during working hours, promptly addressing urgent issues with the support of senior team members. Core tasks include managing check-ins, room preparations, assisting students with roommate issues and room changes, addressing student complaints, updating access systems, managing room keys and guest passes, overseeing stock levels, and handling inquiries both in-person and via email. To qualify for this role, candidates must possess exceptional organisational and administrative skills, along with a track record of delivering top-notch customer service. A comprehensive understanding of London, coupled with adept problem-solving abilities and experience in managing challenging customer conversations, is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate empathy towards the challenges faced by young adults in university settings, especially those from abroad, and exhibit a passion for providing accurate information and caring support during vulnerable moments. Residence Hall Assistant

We are proud to be partnering with a National trade union body to find an outstanding National Officer’s Secretary. You will have an understanding of member-based organisations, servicing committee meetings, expense processing, and usual undertaking of secretarial duties. Also, you will have to provide full PA support to the National Officer (NO) including establishing a clear understanding of the NO’s sector- specific responsibilities and contacts. The National Officer’s Secretary will deal with correspondence on behalf of the NO, including liaising with other departments where necessary. This job requires you to be involved in accurate preparation of paperwork, maintaining diary and organising meetings when necessary plus occasional travel to quarterly meetings. You will be providing advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including up to date Word applications, Excel and other database facilities, Outlook and Internet. The National Officer’s Secretary will be making travel and accommodation arrangements in liaison with Finance Department and eternal providers as necessary. You will also be managing discreet projects on the NO’s behalf. This role is an immediate start and will be a temp role for up to 3 months with scope to become permanent. Office based near Holborn. Executive Assistant

Are you a proactive Finance Manager with wanting to work with a charity? We are proud to be partnering with a great national organisation that supports people experiencing mental health problems. They are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support the management team to use financial information to plan and run services and the organisation on a part-time basis (15 hours a week) for up to 6 months. Fully remote. You will liaise with the Senior Management Team, Budget holders and the external Finance operations provider. You will manage the contract for the day-to-day financial operations and work with the outsourced finance team to clear backlogs of sales invoices (working with SMT project leads), finalise raising invoices process/ sales invoice timetable, establish petty cash reconciliation process, establish new system for expenses and coordinate payment runs. You will also complete monthly pension contribution submissions and contribute to the production of financial statements and the delivery of a successful audit . You will collaborate with the wider organisation to ensure accurate financial management information, identify operational and financial risks, and determine methods of mitigating the risks. You will perform any other reasonable tasks required by the CEO. This role requires proven experience of using insight and analysis to provide trends, inform and drive business decisions and experience of formulating, overseeing and reporting on operational plans, including KPIs. The successful candidate will have a strategic, collaborative and solution focused approach to support excellent service provision and fiscal responsibility. They will also show demonstrable innovative ability; using data and insight to inform recommendations for improvements to products, processes or activities. They will be a proficient user of Microsoft technologies at an advanced level (particularly MS Excel). Finance Manager (Part-time)

We are looking for a Fundraising and Database Assistant (Salesforce) to join a small team of professional fundraisers. Above all else, you will need to have excellent attention to detail, and be enthusiastic, hard-working with a can-do attitude. They work in a fast-paced, but friendly and supportive environment, where you can be sure that your contribution will have a real impact on the charity's ability to deliver its vital work to thousands of young people. This role is full time, offers hybrid working 2-3 days in the office per week and is expected to last 2-3 months, so you must be immediately available. Fundraising and database administration Responsible for day to day running of database (Salesforce) for the fundraising team. Ensuring all donations are correctly recorded on the database and thanked appropriately. Help maintain accurate, consistent, and reliable information about supporters for fundraising and relationship-development purposes Assist with data segmentation, creating data lists for mailing, correct recording and analysis of income for development purposes. Working with finance team, supporting the Gift Aid process, attend frequent reconciliation meetings between Salesforce and finance systems (Quickbooks) Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection with all communications and donor activity. Provide support and training in maintaining and utilising Salesforce for the fundraising team.
