Job Overview The Logistics and Production Controller is responsible and accountable for the receipting and shipping of vehicles and for creating and managing the production orders in line with the daily schedule to satisfy customer demand. &nbsp;The role will take accountability for all coordination of shipping and receipting of vehicles ensuring the internal and external information systems are kept fully up to date to provide accurate business reporting. The role will be accountable for managing the daily internal scheduling, reviewing and understanding any key constraints and creating the internal production orders within the MRP system (EPICOR) to trigger the correct production output in all departments.&nbsp; Responsibilities Own the full process of receipting and despatching of vehicles at Pontypool. &nbsp;(one direct report will assist in vehicle movement).&nbsp; Receipt of the vehicle into the site ensuring it is inspected with no defects using various reporting and scanning systems. If there are defects you will notify and manage these through the customer portals and liaise with the customer on next steps. The collection of data on every step of the process, from receipt to delivery, and responsible to maintain databases and MRP to safely store information. Manage the outgoing inspection of vehicles. You will capture any required data and escalate any concerns to higher management. Responsible to ensure all MRP and other systems transactions, including customer and dealer portals are kept up to date. Regularly monitor vehicle availability against the top-level demand plan, if you see potential issues with vehicle delivery that can derail the top-level demand plan you will escalate to your manager. Contact OEM logistics teams to determine ETA's of the vehicles that have been built and are in UK compound.&nbsp; Manage the collection process of finished vehicles for all customers including arranging any transportation if required.&nbsp; Provide accurate information to decision makers through consistent analysis of the distribution process. This analysis is used to make strategic recommendations. Ensure the Production Schedule accurately reflects the constraints within paint, &nbsp;assembly and sub assembly areas. Receive inbound vehicles into the Production Schedule using the MRP system to create jobs. Schedule and create the internal jobs in MRP required for the daily production plan to be realised. Keeping track of production throughput to make sure the Production Schedule is adhered too. Liaise with Team leaders to manage the plan and job adherence for the internal sub assembly processes. Coordinate regularly with scheduler at other site, to endure timely supply of Pontypool manufactured components in alignment with Dagenham's production schedule and delivery expectations. Ensure that all transactions are captured within the company MRP system. Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company's procedures and requirements.&nbsp; Ensuring 5S housekeeping standards are always maintained throughout the office environment, including clean desk policy. Record and communicate all shortage issues and flag to management. Essential Skills Experience in a previous logistics or planning role Proficient use of computer systems including Microsoft Office applications Experience of using an ERP/MRP system Hours and Salary Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm, Friday 7.30am - 1pm 36,000 per annum

Logistics Production Controller

Role Overview The Aftersales Advisor is responsible for the administration of parts sales orders submitted to EDC. After Sales Advisor

Role Overview&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; The Paint Technician role sits within our OE Operations &amp; Logistics team and has primary responsibility for the painting and refinishing of commercial parts using HVLP equipment ensuring that the parts you produce meet both industry, safety and quality standards. Has a right-first-time attitude and a quality-conscious mindset. Is a self-starter, and pro-active member of the team. Essential Key Skills &amp; Experience&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Qualified in City &amp; Guilds Level 3 or IMI refinishing automotive industry or be time served with demonstrable exposure to an environment with a similar product finish. Good knowledge of paint application techniques.&nbsp; Ability to mix and match different paint colours accurately. Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. Able to work to tight deadlines and able to manage self and equipment to meet this Experience with safe work practices including the use of proper PPE. Experience of ovens use and other drying techniques, including curing temperatures and procedures Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, as required. A good understanding of health, safety processes and fire awareness is essential. A good understanding of quality conformance requirements and continuous improvement Be able to work under pressure and prioritize own workload as required. Uphold an upbeat can do&nbsp;attitude, have a proactive and positive approach, with a desire to succeed both personally and for the business. Hours and Salary Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm on weekly rotation 35,000, with an additional 15% shift allowance after completed&nbsp;probation.

Within this role you will be responsible for auditing all departments within the production facility ensuring compliance with documented procedures, industry standards, and best practices. This role is critical in maintaining and improving the quality of products and processes. Duties and responsibilities Conduct regular audits on products, processes, and systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ISO 9001 accreditation. Document and review quality checks performed by both operators and independent audits. Identify non-conformities, root causes, and areas for improvement while working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions. Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions. Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure continuous compliance. Support and train employees in quality assurance processes, best practices, and adherence to work instructions. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizen events, waste reduction initiatives, and quality control techniques. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and process improvements. Skills, experience and qualifications required Previous experience in a quality auditing role will be a distinct advantage. Experience of 8 wastes, Kaizen events etc. The ability to work independently with interpersonal skills will be required.
